Overview EMS, the software tool for environment management for every type of organisation. Web based, EMS functions are accessed via any browser, in both LAN-based networks or through the web. The application is composed of modules, each with specific functions. Environment data modules allow data capture through on-line forms or via import procedures. These are entirely configurable by the organisation installing the tool. "With the configurator, we can perfectly adapt the system to our company's structure. EMS allows us to import data from other systems - databases, files and spreadsheets!"Indicators and reporting are designed to allow captured data to be translated into meaningful and actionable items. Scheduling modules help focus on deadlines: assign responsibilities, define dates and provide warnings and follow-up to users. Document management is handled by another module. Archives, searches and accessibility are its salient features. With the legal search tools, the relevant mandatory requirements can be associated with any environmental procedure. Environmental aspects are managed independently. Document workflow and approvals, for each aspect of the environment are rigorously managed and associated to positions of responsibility to ensure full and unfettered tracing. The last module allows management to have a control panel from which to access immediately all pertinent data, thereby creating the overarching perspective of the organisation's environmental issues. |
